We have over 60 years of experience
Far to the north, surrounded by the magnificent and majestic Lyngen Alps, lie the production facilities of Lyngen Reker AS.
With more than 60 years of experience, we are one of Norway's oldest prawn producers.
The company has always been family-run, now with the 3rd generation involved in the company.
Some might say we are remote, but to get the best and freshest prawn we couldn't have been better located.
The prawn comes from local fishing boats that deliver fresh shrimp daily as long as the weather and wind allow.
The prawn are fished from Bodø in the south to Varanger in the north.
We believe that people deserve to get the best prawn, and our job is to make sure that happens.

We focus on quality and sustainability. We use modern production equipment combined with traditional knowledge to ensure that our shrimp meet the highest standards.
Our production follows strict hygiene and quality requirements so that our customers can always trust that we are a predictable supplier.
All our prawns are MSC certified.

Our prawn is a true Northern Norwegian quality product
– caught in cold, clean fjords and processed with care.
We are proud to offer both hand-peeled and machine-peeled prawns, and we supply to both grocery stores, large-scale households, catering and manufacturers of ready-to-eat meals.
Local roots – international reach
Although our roots are deeply planted in Lyngen, we deliver prawns to customers throughout Norway, but also Sweden and Finland.
