Because we think these prawns are worth the trouble

When the wind blows from the north between the alpine mountains, it is fresh to fish in the fjords in the north.

Yet we have been fishing for prawns here since 1950. That's because we know that the cold and clear sea gives the shrimp from Lyngenfjord a completely unique quality and taste.

So that's why we're going to continue doing exactly that, even if the fjords turn white from the north wind every now and then.

We have more than 60 years of experience

Far to the north, surrounded by the magnificent and majestic Lyngen Alps, lie the production facilities of Lyngen Reker AS.

With more than 60 years of experience, we are one of Norway's oldest prawn producers. The company has always been family-run, now with the 3rd generation involved in the business.

Some might say we are remote, but to get the best and freshest prawns we couldn't have been better located. The prawns comes from local fishing boats that deliver fresh shrimp daily as long as the weather and wind allow.

We believe that people deserve to get the best prawn and our job is to make sure that happens.
